What services does Biz AccountPros offer?
Biz AccountPros offers outsourced bookkeeping, fractional controller and CFO services, payroll, bill pay, and sales tax services for growing businesses and nonprofits nationwide. We don't prepare income tax returns. Instead, we keep your books ready for your tax preparer.
Who does Biz AccountPros work with?
Most of our clients are growing businesses and nonprofits with about $2 million to $15 million in revenue and 10 to 99 employees. They've outgrown basic bookkeeping but don't need a full-time CFO. We work with professional services firms, contractors, real estate companies, family offices, nonprofits, and more.
Do you work with nonprofits?
Yes. We handle nonprofit bookkeeping, grant and restricted fund tracking, and audit preparation. For nonprofits with an annual audit, we get the books audit-ready and work directly with the auditors.
Where are you located, and do you work with businesses in other states?
Our offices are in the Knoxville, Tennessee and Omaha, Nebraska metro areas, and we work with clients in all 50 states. Everything runs in the cloud, so your location in the U.S. doesn't matter. We don't work with businesses outside the United States.
What makes Biz AccountPros different from other accounting firms?
You get a dedicated team of real accounting professionals, not a call center or a bot. Your monthly financials arrive by the 20th, written into our contract. Pricing and getting started
How much does outsourced accounting cost?
Biz AccountPros charges a flat monthly rate, starting at $500 per month, based on the services you need and the size of your business. Our online Pricing Calculator gives you an estimate in under a minute, and your final quote comes after a short, no-pressure call.
When do I pay for your services?
It depends on the type of work. Monthly services are billed at one flat rate, due on the 10th of each month, with no surprise invoices. One-time projects, such as cleanup or catch-up work, are billed 50% upfront to start and 50% when the work is complete. All invoices are paid by ACH bank transfer, and many clients set up autopay for their monthly bill.
How do I get started?
Schedule a no-pressure call. We'll learn about your business, send you a proposal with a flat monthly price, and then handle the onboarding, including connecting your accounts and transferring records from your current provider.
How long does it take to get started?
Onboarding with Biz AccountPros usually takes 30 to 60 days, depending on how much catch-up and cleanup work your books need. If your books are current, it can take less than 30 days. Many businesses start at the beginning of a month or quarter, and January 1 is the cleanest start of all.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No. Every Biz AccountPros agreement is month-to-month, and either party can cancel at any time. You can also add services or scale back as your business changes.
Working with us
Do you prepare income tax returns?
No. Biz AccountPros doesn't prepare income tax returns. We keep your books clean and current all year and deliver a year-end package to your tax preparer or CPA, so they can file on time without cleanup.
Why outsource accounting instead of hiring in-house?
A full in-house team (bookkeeper, controller, and CFO) can cost well over $200,000 a year. With Biz AccountPros, you get that range of skills for one flat monthly fee, with no hiring, training, or turnover. If someone leaves, your books don't stop.
Will I work with the same people every month?
Yes. You get a dedicated team that closes your books every month, so they know your business, your vendors, and what normal looks like for you. You can call them directly.
What accounting software do you use?
We work in QuickBooks, and we're a Platinum QuickBooks ProAdvisor firm. For payroll we use Gusto or Justworks, and for bill pay we use Bill, all connected to your books.
How does Biz AccountPros keep my financial data secure?
Your financial data is protected with bank-level encryption, secure cloud storage, and strict internal controls. We work in trusted cloud platforms (QuickBooks, Gusto, Justworks, and Bill) and take every precaution to keep your information confidential and safe from unauthorized access.
